Hi,

In a Server Proxy Scenario(File to R/3)

1. Where i need to create the RFC Destination?

2. What is the need to create Port?

and in Receiver Comm Channel

Addressing Type: URL Address

Target Host: XIHOST

Service Number: 8000

Path: /sap/xi/engine?type=receiver

3.What is the of the Path here?

Hi,

you create IDX1 to get the IDOC's metadata

from the source system

(the one that you see in IDX2)

so it can be used during the runtime

by the idoc adapter to change

the idoc to idoc-xml

For your Proxy scenario , no need of IDX1 etc.

When you deal with Idocs, tehn port are required.

Hi,

1. you need to configure proxy in your r/3 system, try to find some blog on sdn.

There are some ports which should be configured.

2.

3. path is pointing to local integration server
