Netweaver EhP2 SP9

Hello,

we upgraded Netweaver to EhP2 SP9,

and now trying to install WEBCUIF 701 using SAINT.

We get the error :

Conflicts Between Add-On WEBCUIF 701 and other components

Component Release Add-On Piece List Information on

Conflict Resolution

SAP_ABA 702

SAPK-701DDINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DFINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DKINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DMINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DOINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DRINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DWINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DZINSAPABA Unresolvable

Idem with WEBCUIF 700

Are we using the wrong WEBCUIF version ?

Or is there a problem with SP9 ?

Thanks a lot,

A.Bonnet

Hi,

when installing WEBCUIF 7.01, did you first import WEBCUIF 700?

WEBCUIF 700 is a prerequisite for WEBCUIF 7.01.

Holger.

Hi Holger,

yes, I tried 700 alone but get the same error :

Conflicts Between Add-On WEBCUIF 700 and other components --> unresolvable

I now have 700 and 701 in SAINT queue.

Thanks for your quick answer,

Alexandre

Hi,

since WEBCUIF is a prerequisite, we're still unable to go further in our Duet installation.

Is there anything we could do ?

Thanks,

Alexandre

Hello

We have the same issue

1) upgrade to EHP2 last SP release 9

2) install using SAINT of WEBCUIF 700 results with issues , conflicts with SAP_ABA

Seems it needs CRT but they are not available ...

does someone have a workaround ?

Hi,

I don't have a resolution yet, but I just wanted to let you know that I am currently installing a SP09 system from scratch and will try to install WEBCUIF after that.

I will come back as soon as I have more information

Holger.

Hi,

it took a little longer to get and setup the system. What I did was install NetWeaver 7.02 SP02 (from http://service.sap.com/swdc). Then I imported all the Service packs for SAP_ABA, SAP_BASIS, PI_BASIS, SAP_BW till SP09.

So the result looked like this:

SAP_ABA 702 0009 SAPKA70209 Cross-Application Component

SAP_BASIS 702 0009 SAPKB70209 SAP Basis Component

PI_BASIS 702 0009 SAPK-70209INPIBASIS Basis Plug-In

SAP_BW 702 0009 SAPKW70209 SAP Business Warehouse

Then I added the WEBCUIF700 (OCS package SAPK-700IHINWEBCUIF) to the queue and imported this successfully via SAINT and the password required from [Note 1162091 - Installing WEBCUIF 700 on ERP 6.0 EHP 4|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1162091].

I am just now in the process of installing WEBCUIF701 SP02 (SAPK-701AHINWEBCUIF, SAPK-70101INWEBCUIF & SAPK-70102INWEBCUIF) to my system, so I think WEBCUIF should work also with SP09 (I will update you tomorrow morning once the import is hopefully done).

My installation is on Windows 2008 R2 with a SQL Server 10.00.2531.

May I ask what your setup is?

Thanks,

Holger.

.... OK, now WEBCUIF701 SP02 is also installed.

So now my status is:

SAP_ABA 702 0009 SAPKA70209 Cross-Application Component

SAP_BASIS 702 0009 SAPKB70209 SAP Basis Component

PI_BASIS 702 0009 SAPK-70209INPIBASIS Basis Plug-In

SAP_BW 702 0009 SAPKW70209 SAP Business Warehouse

WEBCUIF 701 0002 SAPK-70102INWEBCUIF SAP Web UI Framework

Guess we have to find out what you did differently in your installations.

Holger.

Hi Holger,

our configuration is :

Netweaver 7.0 + EhP1 + EhP2 SP9

on MaxDB 7.8

Now we have :

SAP_ABA 702 0009 SAPKA70209 Cross-Application Component

SAP_BASIS 702 0009 SAPKB70209 SAP Basis Component

PI_BASIS 702 0009 SAPK-70209INPIBASIS Basis Plug-In

SAP_BW 702 0009 SAPKW70209 SAP Business Warehouse

BI_CONT 705 0001 SAPK-70501INBICONT Business Intelligence Content

CPMBPC 750 0009 SAPK-75009INCPMBPC CPM Business Planning and Consolidation

We put SAPK-700IHINWEBCUIF in SAINT queue and started the import using the password of the sap note 1162091.

Then we get :

Conflicts Between Add-On WEBCUIF 700 and other components

Component Release Add-On Piece List Information on

Conflict Resolution

SAP_ABA 702 SAPK-701DDINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DFINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DKINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DMINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DOINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DRINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DWINSAPABA Unresolvable

SAPK-701DZINSAPABA Unresolvable

What we have different is MaxDB / SQL, and BI content 705 and BPC.

Alexandre

Hi,

I would like to repro this issue, so:

Chea-Lie, do you have a similar setup (e.g. also MaxDB)

Did you first install 7.01 (EhP1) and the update to EhP2?

I will try to install a NetWeaver with MaxDB and see how that goes...

Regards,

Holger.

Hello

I also use MaxDB

we installed SAP NW 7.01 then upgrade to EHP2 SP9 directly

sounds like there is a conflict between SAP_ABA and WEBCUIF

it asks for unexisting CRTs

Chea-Lie

when we upgraded to EHP2 SP9

we also add SPs for our BPC NW 7.5 (we upgrade to SP9)

at some point it asks for a CRT i don't know if there is an impact ...
