SAP 46 with SQL SERVER 2005 : Error connection

Hi sapguys,

I'm a new SAP administrator on SQL SERVER : I have been working for SAP on Oracle for 10 years.

i have just installed a SAP 46C on SQL SERVER 2005 SP3 : the kernel is 46D EX2 32 bits no unicode.

Yet when I launch SAP with MMC the instance seems to start but after 10 seconds, the instance become yellow.

in the log of the Work Process, I have this kind of message :

For this error check

Note 920530 - Error Message in Trace: New Process with the same PID

are you running a named instance or using the DEFAULT connection?

A named instance call PZ1.

As mentionned in note 920530, I already used the latest kernel SAP KERNEL 4.6D_EX2 32-BIT number 2571.

Note 98678 - SQL Server Connection Issues

and set the profile parameter dbs/mss/server to "sirtly\PZ1".

The "very latest" kernel (dw*) is patchlevel 2595

I'm going to try your note 98678 and to modify the profile parameter.

the latest dw is 2598 from 16th September....
