Former Member

Hi All,

In CBS, I selected my DEV track under buildspaces. it then listed out my project SCs and standard SCs. When i selected my

project SC, I found there is one broken DC. In the compile state column it is showing a error.

Please help me in resolving this error.

Thanks!

Dear Swarnaprakash,

You can expand the dc which is in error condition in CSB, then you find the logs.

Also refer to http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/de/d0/7c5f408e631059e10000000a155106/content.htm might help to find details CBS logs.

Hi Arun,

When I go the particular DC which is showing error, I am able to see both build log and request log link. But when I open the log

it is showing no logs available.

Please advise on this.

Thanks!

One addition: perhaps you find this document useful as well:

Hi Ervin,

Thanks a lot for your response.

The red is showing in compile state column and it is a metadata DC of a CAS.

Please advise on this.

Thanks!

Hi,

if you click on the problematic DC and this is one of yours, then a button "Build..." should appear. Please trigger a build, then the build log will be available as well.

Please also let me know what status is red for this DC. I mean the columns "Metadata", "Used DC", "Compile Status".

The most interesting one would be if the "Compile Status" would be red, because for instance if it failed due to "Used DC" it only means that the build failed due to an other broken DC.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Ervin
