How to get Picking Request No

Dear Expert

I have performed the Picking Operation through transaction code "VL02N" successfully. But i did not get the picking request no for that. What is the procedure to see Picking Request no. Kindly help to understand this process.

Hi Dheerender,

In VL01N when you pick the material and after doing the PGI in document flow you can see the picking request no.The picking request is nothing but date of picking, you can check the no it is only date like 20110919.

But I did not get that Pciking Request no when i have done the PGI. Again if we want to see that number what is the procedure.

Hi,

Please note, picking request is generate only when you picked the quantity from storage area or location, kindly recheck in VL02N in under "Picking" tab Field "Picked Qty", whether it is done correctly or not?, if yes, then you have another option to check in MSEG table.

I Checked in VL02N picking is done properly and also i could't able to picking request no or my PGI document no in the table "MSEG". What to do next.
