SPAM update struck in IMPORT_PROPER phase

Hi All,

We are importing the SPAM/SAINT update from SP level 42 to 43 for Solution Manager 7.0 EhP1.But, the SPAM/SAINT update has got struck in the IMPORT_PROPER phase and is showing "IMPORT_PROPER" phase as being processed but actually no update is happening at the Job level and no job is active.

I am unable to restart the SPAM/SAINT update as "import SPAM/SAINT update" option is disabled at the moment in SPAM.

Please suggest on how to overcome this issue.

Since same phase is again in 'progress' (atleast shown as in progress), any log update now ? If yes then paste the logs for the status update.

If there is no updated in the import logs and if above option of re-import spam update still disabled then please created a ticket with SAP.

Hi Murli.

Go on OS level and check the /usr/sap/trans/tmp is there any file is getting updated, can u share the same log on forum.

Please provide the logs ..you can find this from SPAM -> Goto -> Import logs of the Queue

Please note

The Job had terminated with the ABAP dump ZDATE_ILLEGAL_LOCTIME during SPAM/SAINT update and this dump has only occured a few times during that failing of the Job , but after that has not occured at all

For the Dump ZDATE_ILLEGAL_LOCTIME, I have followed the Note 447839 and have restarted the SAP system as well.

Further to restart, In spam, the status is still reflecting as "SPAM/SAINT" update is being processed in "IMPORT_PROPER" phase though.

check if the Transport System (CTS) is configured correctly. tp is working fine ?

Please check and paste the logs mentioned there in SPAM transaction or you can check the logs in trans/log directory, means last log files of log directory, these will be starting from SLOG or ALOG etc.
