NWDI Configuration.

Hello Everyone

I have installed NWDI by deploying the following components in the Portal System.

DI CHANGE MGMT. SERVER

DI COMPONENT BUILD SERVER

DI DESIGN TIME REPOSITORY

When i try to login to NWDI using http://<hostname>:portno/devinf i am asked for username and password, i enter nwdi_adm user and give the master password, it does not accept. i am given the logon box again.

I have checked in portal as well. There is no NWDI_ADM user present. Do i have to configure it in Visual Admin or someplace.

Also i have NWDS installed on Developers PC, what configurations do i have to make to ensure that they access the DC's from their local desktops.

Hi,

NWDI uses a lot of resources so it's recommended that you install NWDI as a stand-alone AS Java with DI usage type. I'm not sure if you can just add DI usage type to an existing NW portal by deploying these 3 components.

You should follow the installation guide to setup/config. Check out the Wiki pages to learn more about NWDI

Last but not least, you should post your NWDI-related questions in the NWDI forum (SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure) and give more details (system versions, etc.); that way, you'll have better chances to get answers
