Dear Expert,
Currently i am facing a strange issue regarding email notification and I am not sure where was the problem stuck even I have raised a message to SAP but till no any success.
In our case we are getting a notification and approval mail in user SAP Inbox (SBWP) but not to the external mailbox like outlook.
we have already configured SMTP server (SCOT) and even send some test mail from SAP and its working fine.
Your quick response will be appreciable.
Thanks,
Regards,
Soman
Hi Soman,
Can you see if any ports are restricted? The issue seems to be with the mail server port configurations. Ensure that the ports and IP address of the GRC system are open/trusted in your mail server.

Raghu

Hi Raghu,
Thanks, I have checked ICM trace there is no any error log and in SCOT inbound and outbound trace there was a "event receiver error"

Hello Raghu,
We have configure SCOTT and also Schedule Job for INT(finished with No error).I have check CUP request mail is coming in SWBP inbox.... but it's not coming to outlook/lotus.
I have also sent test mail from SBWP ......that is working fine and it's also coming to outlook/lotus.

Hello Soman,
Did you solved your issue, only set the parameter 1113?
Because we have an identical issue, but this parameter was set with the system user. the strange is in our case the user received the e-mail if was a BRM, EAM or ARM process, but in ARA process the user only receives the notification in NWBC not in external box, like outlook. We post the issue in scn, if you want to give a look.
https://scn.sap.com/thread/3848718
Thank you.
Regards,
Ínês Costa

Were you able to resolve this? I am experiencing the same issue in BRM where new item notifications are not appearing in SOST. All the notifications are captured in "search requests" in NWBC and approvals appear in SOST just not new item notifications. I am on SP12 and have followed all the steps recommended in this post and still have not resolved the issue.
Any help is appreciate. Thanks.

You should have your issue resolved by now. But first thing to check when your email reaches SBWP and not the user is to check if any email were sent by SAP in tcode SOST. Basis can check this if you are not an expert.
If the email has not left SOST, then the email is not left the system and SICF & SCOT have to be configured. If the email is in SOST and is green, it means the issue is in the MAIL server for the user.
Hope this helps for reference.
