Scorecards on iPad - how on earth?

I know the documentation says you can do this, but the 2 page explanation is hopeless.

It says you need to enter input into the "Report Block Name" field. Where is is ? Anyone got any good WebI examples of this for the iPad.

we have BOBJ4 SP2 and the iPad App.

anyone?

Thanks

Hey,

In general:

Scorecarding is done by using a regular table and then you name the block name with the following convention:

for example;

to get an arrow, on the third column name the block as follows:

;SC_TA_C_3_R - to position the arrow on the right

;SC_TA_C_3_L - to position on the left.

so - all possible combinations are:

;SC_TA_C_1_R;SL_GF_Item2_C_2_5;SC_TT_C_6_R;SC_GF_C_7;SL_L_Item5_C_8_10

which means:

arrow on the right on col 1,

area micro chart from 2-5,

trend icon on 6,

button scorecard on 7

and line microchart from 8 til 10.

You need to play with that a bit.

but once you get the idea, it's quite easy.

Tomer.

hi tomer, thanks, but maybe it's my lack of understanding Webi. when you say "name the block name" it is here i get stuck. i see when i drag a table over, a block is created, e.g. "Block 1" on the Report navigation pane. Is this the block name you are talking about. also, if so, how do you change it, because I tried that too. I tried to right click, i look everywhere to change it but could not. i'm looking forward to you reply. thanks. g

Hi Glen,

The report block name is simply the name of the report object (your table in this case).

In design mode, right click>format table > Name.

Change this accordingly and the scorecards should work.
