PAM issue - web dispatcher and LINUX REDHAT EL6

Experts,

We'd like to rebuild our existing web dispatchers that are currently running NW7.0 on Linux GNU SLES-9 x86_64. But we have to order new hardware and would like to use NW7.02 or NW7.10/7.20 kernel but specifically want to use new hardware based on LINUX REDHAT EL6/POWER 64BIT

the problem is that when I go out to PAM (Product Availability Matrix), then look at NW7.0, then find the "web dispatcher" tab within there, I don't see that LINUX REDHAT EL6 is an option.

RedHat Enterprise Linux 6 was release in November 2010 so it's been out a while!

No matter if I check any of these versions, the latest version of Linux REDHAT listed is EL5

SAP WEB DISPATCHER 7.10

SAP WEB DISPATCHER 7.11

SAP WEB DISPATCHER 7.20

SAP WEB DISPATCHER 7.00

SAP WEB DISPATCHER 7.01

Am I missing something? I'd hate to order the hardware if it isn't supported or the SAP software would not work...

Thanks

NICK

SAP responded. REL6 on POWER is supported for webdispatcher. But they have yet to update PAM....

PAM Says the latest version of linux is EL5 ..

May be its better to raise a message .. Then they will clarify ..

Instead of buying a new hardware it will be better to raise a message to SAP .. .
