Hi Gurus,
I have a basic question, i have a Sales contract which is a valid contract, now i want to block users from creating any more line items on the contract but i don't want to cancel the contract, so basically the requirement is that users should not be able to create any new line items on this contract. Any help on this is highly appreciated.
regards
Anmol
very simple. Give access of VA41 to those users. They can only create contract and they will not be able to change it later. Give access of VA42 to only those users who are authorized to change it. If you dont want this then you have to go for a user exit. If you need it I can provide you later that user exit too which will control user base fields of contract.

Hi,
There is no standard procedure to block thye users from creating new line items , discuss with your technical consultant and check for an exit to disable all the other area apart from the already existing line items in the change mode of the contract. This should be possible
