How could I transfer universe from one Bo instance to the other

Hellow!

I am sorry for simple questions but I am new in BO.

I have universe in one BO repository and want to create same universe in the other BO repository.

Universe is based on connection to oracle DB. Both BO instances have connection description used in universe.

use import wizard to migrate the universe from source environment to destination environment. The underlying connection will be migrated along with the universe automatically.

Hellow!

I tried

1. start tools disigner

2. connect to source repository

3. menu -> file -> import , select source universe and local folder , run import . result OK.

4 .connect to target repository (AS ADMINISTRATOR)

5. menu -> file -> export , select domain ,

6. AND WHEN I TRIED TO ADD FILE (FROM STEP 3) I GOT MESSAGE "YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO USE THIS UNIVERCE (UX0003)"

What is wrong ?

Hello Andrey,

You are looking at wrong place.

Go to "Start" --> "program" --> "Business Objects3.1 --> "Business Objects Enterprise" --> Import Wizard.

This is tool used for migrating the content.

Provide the Source system and Destination system (CMS name with port)

Next window for contents to be migrated select "Import Universe" and follow the screen.

You will be able to import the universe to new system.

Also go through the help file if you want to understand anthything about import wizard.
