Block DMS Doc type for ECM

Dear Experts,

Iam working on a requirement ,where i have been asked to block ECM for Document type SWA and SWP

As for the above ,i have followed the menu path

Document Management -Control Data-Define Doc type-

In the change Doc type for SWA and SWP ,i have deactivated the selection for Version Management and Change Doc's

But dint allow me to save changes unles the class type 017,with class removed for the respective document type

Once done ,i thought it should take care of ECM deactivation for the DMS document type SWA and SWP

Now while testing ,we are facing issue Error Reading Doc Table AENVB,

We still need to be able to attach several type of documents. These include:

ACD, ASY, CTL, DXF, JPG, LBS, PAK,PDF, SPM, SWD, and TIF

Please let me know,if the deactivation of the Version management and Change Doc ,with class type has any implication as with issues found with test

Hi Rajan,

Same in configuration under 'FIELD SELECTION" right side you will see the "Change Number", just select option as "Supress Field" ( symbol will be -).
