How to upgrade LSMW only ??

Hi.

My system is SAP ECC 6.0 with SAP_ABA, SAP_BASIS 702 0007 .

My LSMW version is 4.0.0 of the LSM Workbench from 31.08.2004.

How can i only upgrade the LSMW to a new version ?

LSMW 4.0 is an integrated part of the SAP Web Application Server 6.20 and future releases. Therefore, a separate installation is no longer necessary. Importing earlier LSMW versions into Release 6.20 or higher invalidates the existing Release 4.0 version and must always be avoided as a result.

We must stress again that you may not import an LSMW add-on version in SAP systems with Basis Release 6.20 or higher.

Just for clarify.

It`s no recommend to upgrade right ??

Try to check the SAP Note 158285 - LSMW: Release upgrade, version change, LSMW Add-On and it's related sap notes as well.
