Dear Experts,
Please let me know the SAP Transaction to update / delete an entry from Database Table VTRDI (Shipment Planning Index).
Thanks & Regards,
Ramesh M
Hi Ramesh,
You don't and it is not recommended to handle standard SAP tables directly..
your issue, I think is incorrect shipment index..
pls use report RVV05IVB to re-organize the sd document indices.
please refer to SAP "Note 128947 - Correction of SD document indexes with RVV05IVB" for further details.

Raghu.

Dear Rags,
Thanks for your immediate response.
For one of the Outbound Delivery, at Header level Transport Planning Status was blank.
But when the custom report was executed, fetching from Database Table VTRDI.
As per the user, the report should not have been displayed that particular Outbound Delivery
as the Transp. Planning Status was blank. But the Table has value A (Not processed) for that
corresponding delivery.
Could you clarify the above points?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Ramesh M

Hi Ramesh,
Yes that seems a valid point..if transportation planning status is blank it means that the doc is not relevant for any shipment or there is a shipment block? If there is no shipment in your system then its a problem with the table VTRDI.
If the document is shipment relevant, could you please check manual changes on the delivery document and check if there's a shipment block?
if there are none, then I believe you should run the report I mentioned earlier--it'll correct the table.

Raghu.
Hi,
Thanks for the inputs here.
I faced same issue and found that it was because delivery was having 'Transportation Planning Status' as blank. There can be multiple reasons for this.
SAP Help says '
'
In my case, the route was not entered in delivery and hence it was not getting listed in during shipment creation. Once I entered route, system changed status as 'Open for Transportation Planning' and then it was listed in during shipment creation.
Technically, once it is relevant for transportation, SAP adds the delivery to the table VTRDI which is the index table for transportation planning.
Just thought of sharing this, might be useful for someone facing same issue.
Thanks.
