Extraction of Information from Reports

Hi Experts,

For every action on the repository i see that there is a report generated in the "Reports" table . (Console -> Admin -> Report

Is there a way we can pick a couple of entries from that table and send it to a distribution list .(Need an Automation Process)

Hi Vag,

Yes I agree using OS scripts is a better way to achieve what you desire.

as your requirement is to track activites too,I do not think Change tracking/syndication can help in that regard.

Please explore the MDM Change Tracking table for your scenario -

http://service.sap.com/installmdm71 --> MDM Console Guide --> MDM System Administration --> Change Tracking Table.

If you do not want to use change tracking table, then try to create syndication maps for your scenarios that will generate files based on your reporting requirement.

For parsing log files and creating a report, you need to play with OS Scripts and XML Parsing options.
