Hi,

I am trying to import software components from sld into esr. When i click on display available components i get the error :

Could not read list of software component versions

The details show:

Could not read list of software component versions

from SLD (COULD_NOT_READ_SWCV)

HTTP response code: 403 (Forbidden)

we were initially getting access issue also in details, but that has been rectified by assigning appropriate roles.\

Kindly help.

Hi,

Use t-code SLDCHECK on ABAP stack to confirm the connection of XI system and SLD.

Check whether SLD and XI system are on same server. Refer to OSS note - 720717 to integrate XI with other SLD.

In the Integration Builder page, Click on the Administration and check the following parameters to make sure they are pointing to right SLD system and port.

com.sap.aii.connect.cr.httpport

com.sap.aii.connect.cr.name

com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.httpport

com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.name

SLDcheck returns connection successful.

The specified OSS note doesnt help.

403 is for user access issue only. Please check your role.

i have checked the roles. Everything seems to be in place.

and 403 is not restricted to user roles

403 Substatus Error Codes for IIS

403.1 - Execute access forbidden.

403.2 - Read access forbidden.

403.3 - Write access forbidden.

403.4 - SSL required.

403.5 - SSL 128 required.

403.6 - IP address rejected.

403.7 - Client certificate required.

403.8 - Site access denied.

403.9 - Too many users.

403.10 - Invalid configuration.

403.11 - Password change.

403.12 - Mapper denied access.

403.13 - Client certificate revoked.

403.14 - Directory listing denied.

403.15 - Client Access Licenses exceeded.

403.16 - Client certificate is untrusted or invalid.

403.17 - Client certificate has expired or is not yet valid.

PI uses a super user to read data from SLD.

Please make sure PIREPUSER is defined as a service user in SU01

and has the following roles assigned for SLD communication:

SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR

SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER

SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER

the above error does mean that you still may not have access to import SWCV into ESR...do you have SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER assigned t your user-id?

As i have mentioned i am not getting "User credentials are invalid or user is denied access" error.

So doesnt help.

Then check whether the user is locked or not ........also you can check the password.
