Problem with custom error message

Hello Experts,

We have to display costom error message in case of standard 404 error message.

When I open an XML form and then change the ID of the XML form i get 404 error page.

E.g Original LInk - https://sapdeskt.....com/irj/go/km/docs/ApplicationStatus/e038ae5b-255c-2e10-728e-838aa7847450.xml

Modified Link - https://sapdeskt.....com/irj/go/km/docs/ApplicationStatus/e038ae5b-255c-2e10-728e-838aa784gggg.xml

After executing the modified link i get the 404 error page, instead of which i need a custom error page.

I have followed the Step 3 and 4 mentioned in this blog http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/18398

But none of the changes are working.

Any help regarding this would be appreciated.

Hello Blanca,

Your answer was helpful in resolving an another issue but not the one mention in the above query. For the above query SAP provided us with a KM patch which solved our problem.
