Conflicts Between Add-On ST 710 and Support Packages Include CRT SAPKITL701

Hi Experts,

I have installed the solution manager 7.1 and tryed to import the basus patch SAPKB70105 but it was not completed is giving the error Conflicts Between Add-On ST 710 and Support Packages Include CRT SAPKITL701. I tried to import SAPKITL701 buth the it was failed because of basis patch 70205.

Phase ADDON_CONFLICTS_?: Explanation of Errors

Conflicts were found between the Support Packages that you want to

import and the Add-Ons installed in the system. To guarantee the

consistency of your system, the import is interrupted until all Conflic

Resolution Transports (CRTs) for the listed Support Packages are

included in the queue.

To include the CRTs in the queue, proceed as follows:

- Write down the Support Packages and Add-Ons that have conflicts.

- Leave this screen by choosing 'Cancel' (F12).

- Load the CRTs for the Support Packages with conflicts from the SAP

Service Marketplace or request them from your Add-On supplier.

- Define the extended queue again in the Support Package Manager.

- Import the queue. The Support Package Manager executes all steps from

the beginning.

If the problem involves an SAP Add-On, see SAP Note 53902, which tells

you which CRTs resolve the conflicts. Otherwise contact the supplier of

your Add-On for details on how to proceed.

The following contains a table of Support Packages for each Add-On for

which conflicts were detected. The column 'Information on the Conflict

Resolution' specifies how you can resolve a conflict. For more

information, select the corresponding 'Information for the Conflict

Resolution'.

Hi Hillary, the CRT for package SAPKB70105 is not yet available in the marketplace, the release is in june 2012,

'' answer sap:

SAPKITL705 belongs to Solution Manager 7.1 Stack 5 which is not release

to customer yet. The planned release of Support Package Stack 5 of

Solution Manager 7.1 is on 06/2012. So currently you need to stop the

import and wait for the release of the Support Package Stack 5 of

the Solution Manager 7.1.

You should only apply support packages in support package stack but not

individually.''

Hello,

The best way to apply support packs in any solution manager release is to apply the entire stack as per the stack information in marker place. This way you will not have any dependency issues at all. Make sure you define a single queue for all the

components. In case you want to only apply few packages, then make sure you define SAP_BASIS , ST and BBPCM in a single queue.

Dependencies between Support Packages

In general, Support Packages of the ST software component require certain SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA or BBPCRM Support Packages.

SAP Solution Manager 7.1: Support Packages for the software components SAP_BASIS 702 and BBPCRM 701 can only be imported together with a Support Package for ST 710, which then represents a Conflict Resolution Transport (CRT). This means that Support Packages that have already been released for these software components (SAP_BASIS, BBPCRM) can be imported only if a suitable Support Package for ST 710 has been released. There is a gap between the releases of the individual Support Packages. This problem does not affect you if you import complete Support Package Stacks.

(Examples: You cannot import Support Package 05 of SAP_BASIS 702 without importing Support Package 6 of SAP_BASIS, Support Package 1 of ST, and Support Package 3 of BBPCRM at the same time. You cannot import Support Package 7 of SAP_BASIS 702 without importing Support Package 2 of ST and Support Package 4 of BBPCRM at the same time.)

Hello Jose,

Solution Manager 7.1 is based on the technology of SAP Netweaver 7.02, this Netweaver version runs with kernel 7.20. Why are you trying to import a 701 package (SAPKB70105)? SAP_BASIS packages should be on 702 level.

Please clarify.
