Very slow system performance while running DSWP transaction

Hello SOLMAN experts!

We are experiencing a very slow system performance while running DSWP transaction: BPM, Early Watch, Self-Diagnosis all running extreamly slow.

Kindly please advice where we should look to resolve this?

Hi,

What is the solution manager version?

Is the solman central note applied?

Please check if the note is applied(according to the version):

- 1172948: for sp18 and sp19

- 1334252: for sp20 and sp21

- 1405878: for sp22 to sp26

- 1468591: for sp25 and higher

What database are you using?

If it is ORACLE you can check if the parameters are correctly set and tune it according to note 830576 and use the report attached to note 1171650 to check the parameters.

Besides that you can perform a trace (transactions ST01, ST05) to determine why the system is slow.

For performance related issues, or most issues, you should always state your ST Release and SP Level,

i.e Solution amanager 7.01 SP26. There may be a note that addresses your performance problems, but I would not

recommend a note if I didn't know your SP level, becsause how else can I know if it would apply or not?

In your case there are many performance related notes, but most are for narrow ranges of SP levels.

If you state then a recomemndation can be made.
