Inspection lot size

Hi All,

We use Repetitive Manufacturing. I have ativated inspection type 13 in material. Rate routing is created with inspection operation.sampling procedure is assigned at characteristic level.

My problem is we are doing back flushing with 100 qty, but when I am creating Inspection lots in MFPR it is not picking lot size as 100. But it is picking lot size as 99999999. This qty is defined as lot size in production version.

So each time whenever we are doing back flushing we are getting inspection lot size as 9999999. Actually it should be back flush qty.

Please do needful.

Thanks & Regards

As per std SAP the Inspection lot size for 03 inspection type is always equals to the max size specified in the production version & same gets backflushed.

I think this is the STD sap & there is no way out..........

Hi Sujit,

We define lot size in production version, that is the max lot size we can use. that does not mean we use same qty for back flush. Back flush qty can be different.

This back flush qty should be pickup by quality lot size.

Yes I aggree to this when you have 04 inspection lot. When it comes to 03 inspection lot ( which is no stock relevent ) lot will be always generated equals to max lot size specified in the Production version. There is seperate provision of selecting backflush qty & inspecion lot qty.
