Hello,
I have one question about the behaviour of a selection opening in a DP planning grid:
In my DP planning grid I have 2 defined selections (selection A and selection B) in my selection choice view. Both selections have approx. 100 data records. If I want to load selection A in the planning grid, the loading action takes several seconds. If I load selection B in the planning grid it only takes at most 1 second.
I do not need a solution for this behaviour, but I need an explanation. Are there any reasons which can explain this behaviour?
Thanks for your answers in advance!
Kind regards
Heinz Becker
Hello,
Do you have navigational attributes in selection A?
It may also slow down the performance.
What if you open selection A for a second time? And what if you open selection B then selection A?
Best Regards,
Ada

Ok, thanks for your answer!
This might be some reasons.
But I recognize that the structure of both selections is the same. Are there any other possible reasons, too?
Perhaps some LiveCache reasons?
Kind regards
Heinz Becker

Hi,
This may be due to many reasons. I will list out my understandings,
1. The selection A might have wild cards, which may take more time than the direct entries
2. The selection A may have exclusion rules, which will also take more time
3. The selection may be at the more detail level than the other selection
