Hi,

go to RZ20 of solution manager and respective MTE class and select properties:

in general tab , there is one section as "Which alert should be kept?"

options are All, The newest , The oldest

I think select on ALL option here and check if new email is getting triggered for every entry change.

Best Regards,

Rupali

What im getting from this is that you already setup the alert but you are not receving a mail for each entry under a single MTE, correct?...

Whats the MTE you are using?... depending on the individual MTE the alert can be raise on change of status rather than an error.

Can you give us more info?

Hi,

the MTE is

Transactional RFC and Queued RFC

-->ARFCSSTATE: Outbound tRFC Calls

Thanks

MTE CCMS_tRFC_Outbound_Tbl (Transactional RFC calls (ARFCSSTATE table)) is a group... so either go GREEN, YELLOW or RED mails are only sent on change of status.

If you want detailed info on the errors you need to use one of the MTE objects under it,

CCMS_tRFC_qRFC_CPIC_Errors

CCMS_tRFC_qRFC_SYSFAIL_Errors

Hi,

Check this note ..

SAP Note 176492 - Automatic email when an alert occurs

(RZ20)

It clearly says how to setup ..

Most important thing you have to do all these changes in 000 as per the note ..

In the parameters tab you have to give the user id or Distribution list ..

Thanks,

Hi,

somehow I feel that my real question was not fully understood.

My problem is not the auto-reaction method in itself, but I want to sent for each new trfc entry an new e-mail. So far I only get one e-mail when the threshold values changes from green to yellow, and from yellow to red.

what needs to change for each new entry, a new alert is triggered --> new email

Yours sincerely

I already mention that using that current MTE is not possible.

You need to go to a lower level by using other MTE's like

CCMS_tRFC_qRFC_CPIC_Errors

CCMS_tRFC_qRFC_SYSFAIL_Errors

Hi everyone,

I tried to use the above MTE, but I have only the following possibility:

Alert is triggered if the comparative value -->exeeds the threshold value

So an alert is not triggered each new sm58 entry.

Any ideas?

If you want to receive email for every new entry you need to change the threshold values

Hope this helps
