Tax exempt certificates are not working for a customer

Hi,

We have an issue regarding Tax Exemption certificates of a Customer. We have a customer for which exempt certificates worked well until we update the exempt certificates. We are using Vertex for Tax calculation. Exemption certificates are working properly in Vertex, but it is not coming properly from SAP. Can any one please help in this case, as this is my first time working with vertex config. Thanks

Hi,

Check what is the tax classification maintained in customer master. Check this for all the partner funcitons(sold to or ship to) of the customer for whom u r finding the issue. And check from sap you are sending which partners tax classification ( either sold to's or ship to's).

Hi Srini,

Can you tell me where exactly look for the tax classification. I looked in XD03 i find only Jurisdiction code tab in Tax tab. If I am wrong please let me know exactly what TCODE is should use and how to look which partner is assigned for tax
