Dear All,

Follwing message appear while starting the SAP instance :Please reply me How to correct the same ,So SAP Instance is UP.

Check and correct the environment variables and the permissions of instance file system (You can have a look at other system as refference).

Santosh,

Can you check if your soft links still exist in your /usr/sap/T02/SYS folder? There should be two soft links in that folder, one for global and one for profile. If its a standard installation then they should point to:

global -> /sapmnt/T02/global

profile -> /sapmnt/T02/profile

Hi,

Any usefull info in sapcpe.log ?

shutdown the entire system again (including listener, startupservcie and everything else).

After this, check "ipcs" output, if there are still shm-segs left.

1) To start the SAP I use SIDadm userid i.e. t02adm

with which user do you start SAP? what are the environment variables for this user?

Have a look at trace file dev_w0 in work directory!
