MDM and unicode issue

When MDM is handling business partner (vendor) with international language version for distribuion will it send all data, example name of company as well as address in the local language if it is maintained and the unicode pages are installed in both instances and the master data is maintained in both languages. I heard that it will send the address in the local language but will not send the name of company in local language, is this true?

Hi Ted,

I was informed as follows:

The versions of the name and the address are both maintained in the "address version" of the Business Partner message (i.e., the message contains both the versions of address and (if maintained) name.

There is no automatic translation. Only the maintained name and adress versions will be distributed.
