Different installation numbers for solman and satellite systems

Hi there,

We are having two business units under same corporate group and each having their own SAP landscape, now the solution manager system is planned to be utilized as shared environment and due to this solution manager and satellite ECC system will have different installation numbers.

Will this create any problem with SAP vendor(is this allowed), and also will there be any problem especially using EWA and MOPZ (due to different installation number).

No, no problem with SAP vendor and no problem w.r.t any technical configuration for e.g. EWA, MOPZ etc.

Hello

Of course systems under different installation numbers can be connected to Solution Manager.

You can connect systems of differnet customer numbers, in a VAR scenario, as a for instance.
