Connection issues between e-Sourcing, PI and SRM

Hi guys, I will appreciate any help on the issue I am battling with right now

Background:

We are on E-sourcing ver 5.1 and we are integrating with SRM 5.0 and R/3 ECC6. We get master data from ECC6 and pass contracts for execution to SRM via PI. We have this scenario working in Dev but somehow the replication of Contracts to SRM iss not working in QA. The only difference that we can see in the two environments (Dev and QA) is that we have SSO active in SRM (QA).

The error

When CLM tries to send Contracts to SRM via PI there is a connection error as PI cannot connect to SRM - The error message displayed is "Log on with a dialog user". The user we are using is a System User.

Please help with:

1. Is SSO that we have in SRM QA causing the issue?

2. What can we do to get PI to log into SRM with the system user

Hello,

a system user might be not good enough to display an error, warning or information message which might came back from ERP or SRM. It might already work when you change the user to a dialog user (which might be something you would like to avoid due to security issues - not sure how to handle this)
