Dear All,

We are implementing Result Analysis (RA) in already existing projects system. RA Method is 03 - Cost Based POC. RA Type is E - Revenue Based RA.

In our total projects some of projects were migrated from old ERP system. These projects have migrated data and open PO account assignment as WBS element level 1 that is project.

Now while implementing RA we are not reversing already settled cost. Our cost was settled to BS GL. We are going to transfer it to PL GL for RA.

But, now problem is that cost already settled which has account assignement project that is WBS element level 1 is appeared in Result Analysis run that is KKA2. When we run KKA2 tcode then we saw that some of cost which was migrated or posted by a/c assignment of wbs elemen level 1 is appeared in cummulative head though it was posted two or three years back.

Cost posted other than wbs level 1 and settled has no problem and not seen in RA.

We have checked it for newly created projects also. WBS Level one a/c assignment cost is seen in RA after settlemnent also.

What is relationship of WBS level one a/c assignement and RA.

Any one focus on it why it is happening. From where cost is comming which already settled.

Hi,

RA basically picks the values based on the cost element assignmnets which you have configured. So i would suggest, first check the assignmnets and see if you have linked the level 1 WBS cost element there. If yes, make the appropriate changes and try again.

Dear Shreekanth,

Thanks for your reply.

While migration one GL of PL and one BS GL was used. No assignment of BS GL was made in RA. PL GL was our regular used GL which was assigned in RA.

Can you elaborate on what is assingment making with cost element?

Hi,

In OKG5 you assign cost elements for RA. Check whether any of your GL's has a corresponding cost element and which in turn is used in RA.

Hi All,

My problem was solved by assigning migration GL to N category in RA. Fortunately This GL will be not in use for future. It is std that credit from settlement pick up in RA for calculation.

Other wise I have to reverse all settlements.

Thanks,

Nilesh
