How to capture Comm. Channels setting for documentation purposes

Hello Experts,

I am trying to capture/document ID -> Communication Channels settings for documentation purposes. One way to capture is via screenshots but is there a better way to do it? Something that is already provided by SAP which I don't know about.

If you just wanted to see the settings of a Communication Channel, for File or JDBC, there is a configuration dump which is described in the note -

Hi,

There is no documentation tool available from SAP to document the XI objects. There are third party vendors who provide such documenting tool. Like PI Documenter from fjgaf. www.figaf.com

But you can maintain the Channel templates in Design time.
