Error message FI003 "FM area XXX does not exist"

Hello everybody,

I have a problem when a try to assign a strategy for reassignment to FM area (in public sector management => Funds Management government => derivation stratégy for reassignment => assign strategy f)or reassignment in FM area).

I enter the FM area that I am working with

Fiscal year : 2010

Fm closing operation: CCF (commitment carryforward)

derivation stratégy: the derivation strategy created before*

*I have already define a derivation strategy for reassignment in the previous customizing point. The strategy derivates a 'technical' commitment item and a technical fund center.

I have the following message :

FM area does not exist

Message no. FI003

Diagnosis

The FM area does not exist.

I haven't got any idea about the problem, does anybody have got an idea about the problem?

Thanks for your answer. Yes, ke FM area is maintained in OF01.

I give an additionnal information: The 2 budget category is activate (commitment and payment)

Do you see the FM area itself maintained in IMG path Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Financial Accounting -> Maintain FM Area (OF01)?
