activating QM for a material

Dear Guru's

Is batch management is mandatory for a material to activate quality management for this material...means with out batches also we can activate quality for the same.

With Out Batch Management you Can Activate Inspection Set Up for Particular Material

Hello

You can activate QM without batch management also. But only thing, you need to trace the material only with reference to the inspection lots. So there will be bit difficulty in tracing the lots in case of non confirmaces( both Vendor related & customer related).
