Dear all,

Here i have a requirement

i have created a maintenance plan with cycle -10 days

Shift factor 80%

Tolerance 20%

Cycle start:22.08.2011

Scheduling period:30 days

Schedule calls were

Plan dates:

01.08.2011

11.08.2011

21.08.2011

But first completed on 04.09.2011 delayed by 3 days,

Plan date Completed date Act variance

01.08.2011 04.08.2011 3 Days

According to shift factor (80%) my next call will be 80 % of 10 days Ie) 8 days from completion date (04.08.2011) will be on 12.09.2011.

But i got next calls on 13.09.2011,23.09.2011

How system is calculating second plan date?

Somebody pls analyse it

Thanks in advance

Calculation of shift factor is not based on cycle length, but based on delay. Delay is 3 days. 80 % of 3 days will be 2.4 days. By rounding up, the next calls have been scheduled by 13.09.2011,23.09.2011.
