Problem while opening PDF file

Hi All,

In CVO3N, there is a PDF file attached. When the file is selected & double clicked to view the file getting the messege as follows -

"C:\DOCUME_{1\MPHATAK\LOCAL}1\TEMP\100012032

FILE CAN NOT BE CREATED"

Please guide me on how to solve this problem.

Hi

In CSADMIN check whether you repository is getting connected or not. The problem might be with connectivity or with your IIS if windows server or check accordingly if it is linux.

Hello Manish,

Hope there is some problem with the data carrier.

Check out Transaction DC30- Define workstation application in Network. Select the application PDF and double click on Define Workstation application in network. Make sure the following are maintained, if not update it.

For Display :

Data carrier type - PC

Application Type -1,

Path with program name should be %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.INPLACE% %PDF%

Path for ref.file, leave it blank.

For Change :

Data carrier type - PC

Application Type -2,

Path with program name should be %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.INPLACE% %PDF%

Path for ref.file, leave it blank.

For Print :

Data carrier type - PC

Application Type -3,

Path with program name should be %AUTO%

Path for ref.file, leave it blank.

Hi Manish,

can u share the config details for PDF in DC30 and and do let me know if this error is appearing only for PDF.

If the error is only for PDF file type then under the setting for PDF in DC30 activate the check for You cannot rename temporary files and test again.
