I get a SAP GUI timeout after approximately 30 minutes when no action is performed.
I want to find the cause.
First of all, i checked some system parameters:
rdisp/gui_auto_logout - set '0'
rdisp/keepalive - set '1200'
rdisp/keepalive_timeout - '60'
Everything seems fine. My second guess is internet security protection installed in my computer and third is network firewalls set by the network administrator.
or maybe there is other place where i should check?
thank you.
Dear Andrius,
Ar you using SAPGUI 640 or 7.20.
Please Install with latest patch 7.20 GUI then Try that,
Please read notes.

problem solved. in my case was the power option settings. Turn off the hard disk was set to 40minutes by default, I changed it to 'never', cause SAP gui disconnects from the SAP app server.
thnx.

Hi,
in your environment our firewall kills any inactive network session after 10 minutes. So I would check network.
Cheers
