when we move the stock to vendor

Record usuage decoision

ERROR comes"THE PRICE FOR THE MATERIAL XX WILL BE NEGATIVE"

The GR on 05.09.2011 and today(08.09.2011) they move to vendor for rework

Moving average price is same ,because same period,stock is available

Yes as this error I suppose is related to GR/IR base invoicing & vendor returns also

you amy also explore OSS Note 1442299

Also seek help of MM consultant to check the moving avg price of material & stock

Hi Suresh,

If your whole stock is being transferred to vendor through 541 and the purchase order price is greater than your MAP, you may get this message. You may have to re-assess order price or change the material price.

Kindly check.

Actually they move the stock from QM lot to blocked stock

that time error comes as

The pricre for the material xxx and batch yy will be negative
