Service Tax calculation

Dear Expert,

in my business scenarios, i want to calculate the service tax on Freight amount.

Example

Freight amount - 38000

Service tax on 25% of Freight@10.3% - 9500

Service Tax 10.3% on 9500 - 978.5

Here i want to calculate the service tax 10.3% on 9500, Not on 38000. but the freight amount is 38000.

Hi,

Please create another statistical condition type with Cond category L and keep some access sequence for determining 25%. Include this in previous step to the freight in pricing procedure. Please maintain it as statistical and refer the freight from this value. You have to keep 100% for applicable cases where you need to charge S.T on full freight amount.
