Operating System Version for SAP PI 7.1 Installation

Hi,

We have Windows Server 2008 R2 Version 6.1 Service Pack 0.0.

Will the above OS version is OK for SAP PI 7.1 Installation.

I heard that SAP PI 7.1 installation is possible, only if it is Version 6.0 and not Version 6.1.

Can anybody confirm as to whether we can go-ahead with Installation with Version 6.1 ?
