Mode of Transport

Hello all,

I have requirement where I need to model mode of transport ( Ship, Truck, etc. ) using SNP Heuristics. Is there a way to model mode of transport with SNP Heuristics based on cost? Customer uses couple of modes to transport goods.

Let me know if there is a way to model mode of transport with SNP Heurisitcs.

Hi Najam,

I dont think that you can prioritise your means of transport on basis of cost in Heurristics.

You need to manually assign your product to the means of transport in the TLane.

I have assigned product specific means of transport but still have the issue.

Two Scenarios I am tried.

1. External Procurement Relationship ( info-records ) with Transportation Lanes having two Modes of Transport with Same Validity Dates --> Duration being different. I also had assigned Product Specific means of transport

2. External Procurement Relationship ( info-records ) with Transportation Lanes having two Means of Transport, same duration being different --> different validity dates.

Either of these two scenarios did not work.

Let me know if you have any suggestions. I am going to search for OSS Notes as well.
