Negative value for key figure:FINAL_QTY_MONTH issue..

Hello Guru's

We're working on SAP SPP module and we're facing the below issue.

The generated Forecast Key figure has negative value in some of the buckets which throws us multiple errors as below.

Product:ABC Location:LOCAA has negative value for key figure:FINAL_QTY_MONTH.

We use to feed the forecast reult to legacy systems for further planning (inventory etc).

It would be a great help if you offer some help or guidance over the above issue.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Expets,

While checking the Forecast using /n/sapapo/sppfcst we're getting the below error in a pop up window.

"Product/location 3L8Z7806024AAB/PLF2FA: Inconsistent historical data in period 20081001"

Can any of you let us know what could be the root cause, if so how to identify/reproduce it and what will be the solution towards it.

Your help on this will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Rohnaena,

In /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN, in the 'Key Figures' tab if you click on the 'Details' button, there is a checkbox called 'Negative values not allowed' for each Key figure. Set it to 'X' to supress negative values and replace them with 0 for your forecast key figure.

Hello SRS Kannan,

Assumption it is for APO-DP.

As suggested above, it can done using macro or you can set key figure as "Negative not Allowed"

Please see below macro and /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN Key figure setting.

Hope this will help.

Thank you

Hi,

In some forecast cases, the pattern of the demand may lead to the results of negative quantities in the forecast.

If you don't want the negative quantities for a certain KF and want to adjust them to zero, then you can do it by writing a macro.
