Dev PI and SLD will not start. Operating system call failed error no. 10054

Former Member

Good Day SDN Forums

Our DEV PI SLD and JAVA stack developed an unexpected failure on the 6th September 2011. The JAVA stack and the SLD services suddenly stopped working without warning, we rebooted the server, but this caused the disp+work.EXE process not to start see below, after looking up various SDN and SAP forums results I tried a number of fixes.

Adding host name ip address into host file u2013 no fix

Adding a Microsoft loopback adapter u2013 no fix

Database checks u2013 working correctly

We are running orcle 11.2.0.1.0 and windows 2008 R1

My network team tell me that this is not a network issue, but forums sources say otherwise.

We are UAT testing for Click software this week and this has become a matter of urgency

Thanks
