My Query is ,
In June 2011, phantom texts "DODSON" and "BETTY DODSON" maintained in customer master "contact person" tab - first name as "DODSON" and Name as "BETTY DODSON" were removed.
But again It has now been discovered that this is reocurring again in customer master with out the user addition.
But when i check in logs , it is showing that some user had added the records but actually no user added the texts again.
But client is clearly stating that the CSR's (based on User ID) are not adding or deleting "DODSON" phantom texts. This is not the case. DODSON and BETTY DODSON are not being added by anyone particularly or at least not deliberately. This is occurring randomly and it is interfering with the quality partners. There is something going on in SAP that is causing these fields to populate. It is not due to a deliberate change by any SAP user.
SAP change logs say that the users made the changes, but that is not correct. So many users will not put in the same name in the masters.
SAP provides the program *RVTEXTE* to clear out phantom texts appearing in sales documents.
In the same manner is their any program to correct the phantom texts in customer master?
