SD Configuration settings

Dear all,

In a project where I'm working we are closing one company code and moving everything to a new company code.

All the organizational estructure will be copy, but as I'm new to SD (just need to make a cost and effort estimate), I'm wondering which customizing settings I will need to look at when checking all the activities.

Could you kindly help me with a list of topics to cover so I can look at? - I have already checked SAP SD best practise, but I understand that several points in there will be complete when copying Sales Orgs, Distribution channels, etc....

if you are an SD consultant you have to more concentrate on SD related concepts

Define sale org,,sales office,sales group,sales are,distribution channel,setup sales line
