Hi Experts,
when we Create any thing in sap a request No is genrated . Is this request number is needed by the SAP for audit purpose or not .

Whcih request no are you talking about ?
Is it Transport request No?
If yes, then there are 2 type of TR.
1. Customizing
2. ABAP dev

its customizing request.
Transport request are used for change Management, which is a part of s/w Life cycle management.
Now it depends of what kind of Audit you are talking about.
I think after this you will be able to figure out whether s/w change is covered in audit then it might be needed.
