Sale of Material through Asset & Return of empty Asset

Hi,

My client is a beer manufacturer & sales beer in Keg(25 Ltr metal can) which is a asset of the company & after use customer returns (empty Keg) it back to company. I also like to mention that Keg material is use as a packaging material in Production process.How to map this scenario?

Hi,

Use returnable packaging material.

Process 1 - sale of beer along with metal can

Create standard sales order for 25 ltr beer + add another line item as your metal can (Item category is TAL for can) >> Delivery(both material will appear for PGI) >> Billing only material beer only appear

Process 2 - Customer return metal can

Create returnable packaging pick up order for can (Item category LAN) >> Return delivery

Process 3 - Customer didnot return and your company want to charge for metal can

Create returnable packaging issue order for can (Item category LNN) >> Delivery (at process 1 once you do PGI then metal cam will place at customer site, same is issued here)
