SAP FICO Career

Hi All

I was thinking of making a career in SAP FICO, please can you suggest if this is the correct decision and how/ what needs to be done for that?

I am currently working as a accounts staff for a financial services company, I have a total of 5 years of experience working as an accountant (of which I was working as a SAP FICO end user for 3.5 years wiith my previous employer....around 2years back) and I am a part qualified accountant along with a graduation in commerce.

Hi,

Yes you can go for it.

For that i will suggest that you take training from SAP authorized education training partner and get SAP FI certificed. This will help you to nurture your knowledge and will make you an SAP Certified Consultant. Being a certified consultant will give u an edge over other FI consultants.

Being hands on .. and having a domain exp .. will def .. make the certification test easy for you.
