Dear Gurus,
We have a scenario in the SD module like the Sales order quantity has to be modified based on the Actual Delivery.
Process steps.
1) Sales order is created on Reference with Sales Agreement (Ex 1000 Tons)
2) Sales Order Created for 100 Tons
3) Delivery Advice Created on 100 tons.
But
4) Actual Delivery happened only for 95 tons
Question from Client
1) We need to change the Sales order quantity automatically as per Actual Delivery.
Help Needed
Please let us know the Process or procedure for this required Scenario
Thanks in Advance
Anil.
Hi,
I actually could not understand the purpose of the requirement. Do you want to close the sales order for further processing once the delivery is created?
Even though you have 100 quantity in Sales order and you have delievered only 95 of it, you will see the actual delivery quantity in the schedule line tab of each line item in the sales order.
So, you may have to create a Z program which will compare the delivery quantity with sales order quantity and if there is a difference, the program will change the sales order quantity.
This is the best I can think off...

Hi,
The order quantity will not change as per the delivery quantity, this is not a standard process for the order qty to change as per the delivered qty.
Convince your client that as per standard SAP or any other business process the Order will always have the Original Order Qty and if they want to check the delivered qty and the to be delivered qty...you can either develop a Z report which will display the original order quantity, delivered quantity and the open quantity.
There is also a note which can be applied for the T-code VA05 or VA05N which will help the system in displaying the open quantity.
