SAP Version conflict on export - OS DB Migration

Former Member

We have Netweaver BI system 7.0 Dual Stack system, we want to migrate it from linux -Oracle to Solaris DB2,

When we are tying to export the source system , the LABEL.ASC files get created with version 7.01, but the actual version of the system is 7.0,

If we try to import this 7.01 Dump to new system at parameter input SAPINST asks for correct version of LABEL.ASC (7.00 )

Source system : SAP NW BI 7.0 on Linux oracle

Target system : SAP NW BI 7.0 on Solaris DB2

Please suggest how to proceed further.

Hi All,

My probllem solved by changing Installation master DVD,

The previous DVD which was generating 7.0 LABEL.ASC files :

[root@Ihost BS_2005_SR3_SAP_Installation_Master]# more CDLABEL.ASC
SAP Business Suite 2005
Installation Master for:
SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3
SAP ERP 6.0 SR3
SAP SRM 5.0 SR3, SAP SCM 5.0 SR3
SAP CRM 5.0 SR3
Number 51038621

The DVD worked for 7.0 is

[root@host Inst._Master_NW_7.0_SR3__BS2005_SR3]# more CDLABEL.ASC
SAP Installation Master
SAP Netweaver 7.0 SR3
BS2005 SR3
ORACLE 11.2
Number 51040125

Thank you !!!

Check your sapinst_dev.log, package.xml

With which sapinst service did you start during the export and import?

label is created by sapisnt during the export.

Please also take a look at the LABELIDX.ASC file located in the

main-directory of the DVD - as it tells you the subdirectories where the labels are searched...

Another thing you can do is check the required lables within the 'packages.xml' file on the master-dvd.

Regards,

Vincent
