Project Type Issue

Hi All,

I have one issue for Project Type field.

In config node:

SPRO > SAP Ref IMG > PS > Structurue > Operative Structures> WorkBreakdown Structure (WBS) > Create Project Types for WBS Elements

there is not entry for Blanl value for Porject Type and also in table TCJ1 - there is again no entry for blank value.

Now my issue is when in go to CJ20N - Project Builder > WBS Element > Proj type field is showing blank entry and whereas same is not visible when we referred WBS Element overview screen.

What are possible causes and how I can remove this blannk entry from WBS screen?

If you want to fill the project type automatically either you need to maintain the value in the project profile (OPSA) or you need to maintain a substitution rule otherwise it will be blank.

Actually I am not talking about that blank.

If you seen for some drop down/search help there is one blank entry with no description like that .. I think it will make sense.

I think I got something - if we make this field mandatory/required in field selection then this blank entry get valished froim search help as well.

blank is coming by default in the system without maintaining any customization, as the system is giving you the option to keep this field blank (without any value). Once you made this field mandatory then it can not be blank, so this option will vanish.
