GRC 10 LDAP Sync issue!

Dear All,

Currently we are configuring LDAP as a user source and user authentication in our GRC 10 system and facing some issues.

Senario 1:

In our LDAP system we have a top OU, where lots of Sub OU's are there specific to country and in that Sub OU's we have all users. When I configure LDAP in GRC system and set base entry as a top OU and set search depth "Base entry and All level below. And when I am running Sync job for LDAP connector (From =>Access Control => Synchronizations Jobs => Repository Object Sync) then this job unable to fetch any users and user source and authentication was not working.

Senarion 2:

If I configure LDAP in GRC system and set base entry as any one Sub OU then the Sync job for LDAP connector was able to fetch the users from that sub OU and user source and authencation was working fine.

But our requirement was to set base entry as Top OU from where all the users from Sub OU should be able to fetch and user source and authencation should work.

Please suggest!

Hi,

Use port 3268 instead (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc978012.aspx) and remove the OU entry from the Base.

Hi,

Did you get LDAP connection up and running I am trying to connect and getting RFC connection error.

Please let me know if you get any doc or info how to resolve this
